be Resilient
Caring at work.
Life is not always easy. We all experience challenges from time to time. Sometimes, however, the resulting stress can take an emotional and physical toll and can affect workplace performance.
A comprehensive Employee Assistance (EA) program is an essential part of a complete workplace wellness and health benefits solution. For employees facing personal challenges, our EA program offers the best hope of addressing the issues and returning to a state of balance as quickly as possible.
An EAP Pioneer
Manitoba Blue Cross pioneered the first and only multidisciplinary employee assistance centre of its kind in Canada. We have the largest, most qualified and diverse group of service providers in Manitoba. Through a balance of innovative services and sound treatment principles, we've helped thousands of employees and families in need to quickly resolve their concerns.

Our employee assistance program is the most comprehensive in the province. No matter the issue, we can help.

PROVIDERS
Many EA services emphasize online FAQs (frequently asked questions) or 1-800 call centre support lines. At Manitoba Blue Cross, decades of experience have shown us that although online services and resources are helpful additions, they can't replace personal access to experts, which is critical to resolving problems.
Innovative programming is important but only when it fits with sound clinical practice. Our approach of "integrity first" has allowed us to attract and keep the best practitioners and deliver the best possible service.
Linking employees with the right help
The members of our intake team are on-site and have professional degrees in either social work or psychology. They have expertise in psycho-social assessment and ensure that those seeking help are matched with the kind of counselling and support that will best meet their needs. Intake is available via telephone or email and in over 150 languages.
Experienced and Diverse Counsellors
We have an exclusive, multidisciplinary network of service providers spanning the province. Most have 20 or more years of therapeutic experience addressing a variety of individual, family and work challenges. We have the capacity to deliver immediate services in multiple languages when required. We are also proud to offer services that are culturally specific for our Aboriginal clients.
