Sign up for direct deposit.

Your claim payments will be transferred directly into your bank account when you register for direct deposit. All you'll have to do is submit claims and watch your payments roll in.

How to sign up:

  • Through your mybluecross® account

    Sign in to mybluecross and under 'My Account', select Update Direct Deposit. Enter your banking information and click 'Submit'.

    You will need your Transit or Branch Number, Institution Number and Account Number to sign up.

    In person or via mail

    Print a Direct Deposit Application Form. Fill out the form with your banking information and attach a void cheque. Submit your form to Manitoba Blue Cross by mail or in person.

    When you sign up for direct deposit, payments will be deposited as soon as your claim is processed. Your bank account should reflect payment within 2-3 business days.

    Signing up is easy – getting paid for your claims without worrying about it is easier.

I don't have a mybluecross® account yet. How do I sign up?

Sign up is easy.

  • Click 'Register' at the top right corner of any page.
  • Enter the information exactly as it appears on your ID card.
  • Verify your account.

If I sign up for direct deposit, can Manitoba Blue Cross withdraw money from my account?

No. Money cannot be withdrawn from your account. Direct deposit only allows Manitoba Blue Cross to deposit claim payments into your bank account.

Where can I find my Transit/Branch Number, Institution Number and Account Number?

These numbers may be found at the bottom edge of your cheque. Branch transit numbers are always 5 digits long and financial institution numbers are always 3 digits long. Bank account numbers are 7-12 digits long.

What if I change my mind?

At any time, sign into mybluecross and choose Update Direct Deposit under 'My Account'. Select 'Stop Payment' to stop receiving direct deposit payments and revert back to cheques.
